Summary

• I am currently the site medical director for a large facility near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a side gig as a telemedicine physician for Sesamecare.
  My responsibilities are as follows:
  I provide primary care for over 1600 inmates and oversee a team of 2 mid-levels.
  With a supervisory role to 2 mid levels, I manage all off site consults and non formulary medications. I attend weekly collegial and regional meetings with regional and state medical director. I attend monthly quality improvement meetings with health care administrator. I perform but am not limited to the following procedures: joint injections, laceration repair, skin biopsies, toenail removal, incision and drainage. Occasionally, I provide site support and in person coverage for facilities in Western PA. Also, I serve as preceptor for Doctor of Nurse Practitioner students. With a proven track record in both the Michigan and Pennsylvania contracts, I am looking to build experience to one day become assistant or state medical director of all the prisons in Michigan
