My philosophy to care is holistic, collaborative and patient centered. As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, my objective is to empower you to take control of your mental wellbeing. My treatment plan includes education regarding your diagnosis and available evidence-based treatments so you can participate in the decision-making process. I will employ a combination of psychotropic medications and psychotherapy to optimize your recovery.
I have extensive knowledge of pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment of a variety of psychiatric conditions including ADHD, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorders, Depression and psychotic disorders.

BACKGROUND
I received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas in Arlington. I am Board Certified in Psychiatric Mental Health (Across the Lifespan) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I am also a proud US Army Veteran. I have worked in several different settings including acute inpatient, inpatient consulting, outpatient setting, and telephealth.
