- Dr. Fernando F. Corrales-Medina is currently a pediatric hematologist-oncologist and associate program director of the pediatric hematology-oncology program at University of Miami-Miller School of Medicine. He attended medical school at the Universidad Católica de Santa Maria in Arequipa, Peru, where he also worked as an associate researcher at his University Research Institute. He then completed his pediatrics residency at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2011, where he became interested in hemophilia. He pursued his fellowship training in pediatric hematology-oncology at The University of Texas – MD Anderson Cancer Center, from which he was graduated in 2014. Dr. Corrales-Medina’s research has been published in several peer-review journals, including Oncoscience and Leukemia Research, among others. He is currently the on-site principal investigator in different pediatric hemophilia and thrombosis clinical trials.
