Summary

  • As a Plastic Surgeon, I specialize in reconstructive surgery for adults and children with traumatic injuries of the face (i.e., facial fractures) and defects caused by Cancer (i.e., Head and Neck, Breast and Skin). With additional training and Board-Certification as an Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgeon), I have a special interest and expertise in nasal surgery, ear surgery (i.e. otoplasty and microtia), and cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the scalp, face, and neck. My research interests focus on surgical outcomes after complex microvascular reconstruction, in particular for patients with Head and Neck Cancer, Breast Cancer, and Facial Paralysis.    

    Annually, I travel to Guatemala to the Moore Pediatric Surgical Center to perform reconstruction for children born with absent or malformed ears (i.e., microtia).
