- Frederic Kass, MD, is an oncologist based in Hagerstown, MD. He graduated from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 1974, completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia Medical Center from 1974 to 1977, and pursued a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at MedStar Health/Georgetown-Washington Hospital Center from 1977 to 1979. Dr. Kass has authored several publications, including ones on clinical oncology pharmacy and the effects of aging on chemotherapy utilization. He was a founding member of Hospice of Washington County in 1981 and has remained actively involved with Hospice.
In addition, he provided expert analysis and testimony for defendants in malpractice cases
He retired from practice in2019, and continues with the Investigational Review Board at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.
