Dr. Frederick Ueland is Professor and Director of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital in Lexington, KY. He is also the Chief Medical Officer and Director of Clinical Operations for the Markey Cancer Center. He received his medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine and did a General Surgery Internship, Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Kentucky. He has been in practice 27 years. He specializes in gynecologic oncology with a specialty interest in ovarian cancer and comprehensive gynecologic surgery.
