- Gail was born in Hawaii, raised in California and moved to Grants Pass in 1998 after graduating from California State University-Fresno with her Bachelor's in Nursing to help care for her grandfather. She first went to work for Rogue Valley Medical Center before transferring to Josephine County Memorial Hospital in 1999.
In 2003, she decided to further her career so she joined the US Naval Reserve Nurse Corps and served until 2012. She was also part of a Medical Mission that went to El Salvador and Nicaragua.
She attended Indiana State University from 2006-2008 where she obtained her Master's in Nursing. Her first job as a Nurse Practitioner was with Southern Oregon Health Center (2009-2010) and then worked with Wellspring Family Practice (2011-2019).
