- Post-Doctoral Fellowship/Center for Disease and ControlThis was a post-doctoral fellowship training in disease prevention which emphasized the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases. After researching and analyzing medical data my research project on "Meth use among heterosexuals with gonorrhea" was published in 2009.2008 - 2009
- Medical Student/John Hopkins University School of MedicineThis was a 16-week clinical research rotation; involving researching & analyzing data which linked African Americans to developing obesity. My findings inspired me to write a brief report about culture & biology in African Americans. My brief report, “The Health Cost of Soul Food" published in 2003.2002 - 2002
