- Dr. Gennaro Giustino is an Interventional Cardiologist with coronary and endovascular training currently serving as Structural Heart Disease Fellow at Henry Ford Hospital (Detroit, MI). He completed his Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, during which he served as Chief Fellow under Dr Valentin Fuster. He has published more than 180 peer-reviewed manuscripts in cardiovascular medicine and has participated in the inception, design and conduction of multiple randomized controlled trials resulting in publications in the most prestigious journals including The New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet, the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC) and Circulation. He is also routinely invited as a faculty at international conferences and as a peer-reviewer for leading cardiovascular journals. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography and Cardiac Computed Tomography. He also speaks multiple languages, including Spanish, Italian, and French.
