Summary

  • I am a Board Certified Anesthesiologist with additional specialized training in Critical Care Medicine and cardiac surgical critical care. My clinical responsibilities include providing anesthetic care for a broad variety of surgical and non surgical procedures with a focus on thoracic anesthesia. In addition, I treat life-threatening conditions such as respiratory failure, heart failure, circulatory shock, kidney failure, and acute bleeding in our medical/surgical ICU. My academic interests include point of care ultrasound evaluation of the heart, lungs and abdominal organs, optimal management of severe sepsis and septic shock, intra-operative use of transesophageal echocardiography, and systemic sequelae of immunotherapeutic and cellular agents used to treat various cancers. I am also involved in educating medical students, residents and fellows rotating at MSKCC.
