Summary

• I am a Board Certified Family Physician who has practiced in a Solo FP office in St. Petersburg, FL since 1990. I presently own Lagniappe Medical, PA where I see private out-patients. I accept only Medicare; others are self-pay, though we help them file for re-imbursement. I admit to 2 local hospitals in the area. I also work at Meridien Research where I conduct clinical trials research for multiple disease states. I am the owner & inventor of Scopester, which is a small plastic device for carrying the healthcare worker's stethoscope on his belt. I have a talk radio show called "Let's Talk Medical with Doctor Gigi" which is broadcast on Fridays in the Clearwater/Tampa area from 1:00-1:45 PM on WTAN 1340-AM. I write a corresponding blog: DoctorGigi.BlogSpot.com. My special interest is patient education, & this talk show & blog offer me the opportunity to impact many people at once as opposed to a single patient via an office visit.
