Dr. Hickman was an early adopter of ultrasound use in Regional Anesthesia and has spoken all over the U.S. and in the Netherlands and Australia on his techniques. He is co-founder of the popular web site Blockjocks.com. He received his medical degree from East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen College of Medicine and has been in practice 31 years. He specializes in ambulatory anesthesiology and regional anesthesiology and is experienced in pain management and ambulatory medicine. He has treated thousands of athletes from all over the world working with Dr. Andrews including 5 Heisman trophy winners. Dr. Hickman resides on beautiful island of Pensacola Beach 3 miles from work.
