  • I am currently on the Urology faculty of the Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School as Director of the Section of Neuro-Urology, Voiding Dysfunction, Female Urology, Urodynamics & Reconstructive Urology. I did my residency training in Urology at the University of Miami, Leonard Miller School of Medicine & Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida and completed a fellowship in Female Urology, Neuro-Urology, Urodynamics, Voiding Dysfunction and Pelvic Reconstruction from University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida.

    My awards include the AUA-Yamanouchi Best Abstract Prize (Anaheim, CA - June 2001); Pfizer Scholarship (2002) and David Weinstein Award in Urodynamics (2008); Young Scientist Award (Gold Medal) of the Urolithiasis Society of India (1993), Cochrane consultant on UI & MORE rater.

    I published over 125 articles in peer reviewed medical journals and wrote 12 book chapters. In addition, he presented in many national and international conferences such as those of the American Urological Association, ICS, SUFU, and the World Congress of Endourology, among others. I was on the teaching faculty of several conferences.

    I am a member of the American Urological Association, New York section of the American Urological Association, International Continence Society (ICS), Society for Urodynamics and Female Urology (SUFU), Urological Society of India, Urolithiasis Society of India, Indian Society of Organ Transplantation, among others. He is also on the Key opinion leaders’ list of European Association of Urology.

    My areas of interest include voiding dysfunction, post prostatectomy urinary incontinence, male urethral stricture disease, sacral neuromodulation, bladder chemodenervation, FPMRS, Neuro-Urology, Functional Urology, and GU Prosthetics.
