Summary

• I am a specialist in Stem Cell Science, procurement, deployment and office-based research; and have been practicing this specialty since my retirement from active, hospital-based CardioVascular and Thoracic surgery 6years ago. I am a graduate of St. Andrews and Manchester Universities in UK, and hold the FRCS from RCSEd in General Surgery and CardioThoracic/ Vascular Surgery and Fellowship of the British Intercollegiate Board in CardioThoracic/ Vascular Surgery; and 2 Cardiac/Vascular patents.
  
  My sub-specialty since the late-1970s has been PHLEBOLOGY and LYMPHATIC disorders. My experience in phlebology started in the late 1970s, when I began performing sclerotherapy, open phlebectomy and saphenous vein stripping. I had performed that alongside my 2 specialties of CardioThoracic and Vascular Surgeries; since in a sense, phlebology was part of vascular surgery. We harvested and treated our own saphenous veins for years. We used them for bypasses in CABG, arterial bypasses in limbs and in dialysis access. However, the advent of office-based, reasonably priced ultrasound machines forced my transition into modern phlebology with in situ vein ablation and micro-phlebectomy about 2001, et seq.
  
  My practice in Ocean Springs, MS, also offers aesthetics with various services including fillers to the face and hands (fat and synthetic), Botox, Kybella and others etc.
