She received her medical degree (MD) from the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 2004 and received her masters in public health degree (MPH) from the Harvard School of Public Health in 2008. Prior to coming to Emory in 2021, Dr. Faulkner was a faculty member of Harvard Medical School and an attending plastic surgeon at the Massachusetts General Hospital from 2015-2021. She specializes in aesthetic/cosmetic/reconstructive plastic surgery including breast reconstruction, breast reduction and breast lift, breast augmentation with implants, breast revision, body contouring after massive weight loss/childbirth/aging, gender affirming surgery of the chest and breasts, and non-surgical facial rejuvenation. She has nearly 50 publications and over 500 citings. She is an active member of multiple national plastic surgery organizations including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and hold leaderships roles regionally and nationally.
