Summary

• I am a board certified family medicine MD, trained at Brown University (both medical school and residency) with over 15 years of clinical experience. I keep up to date, to a great extent, by teaching and precepting Family Medicine Residents weekly at Brown which I very much enjoy.
  
  I speak Spanish fluently after spending my elementary school years in Guatemala. I am a US citizen. I also speak French which was key for my Peace Corps placement in Zaire (now called the Democratic Republic of the Congo) where I worked for 4 years.
  
  I am now especially interested in Addiction Medicine. Also thrilled to be doing Women’s Health on Block Island one to two days a month.
