  • Heidi Zinzow, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist located in Clemson, SC. She earned her doctorate from the University of Georgia, completed her predoctoral internship at the Medical University of South Carolina/Department of Veterans Affairs, and her postdoctoral fellowship in Traumatic Stress at the National Crime Victims Research & Treatment Center. She is a Professor of Psychology and Co-Director of the Center for Addiction and Mental Health Research at Clemson University. Dr. Zinzow has expertise in trauma and PTSD, as well as mood, anxiety, and obsessive compulsive disorders. She has authored over 90 publications and is the recipient of federal grant funding related to topics including sexual and intimate partner violence prevention, traumatic stress, suicide, and substance use disorders. She has also led clinical trials focusing on interventions for PTSD and substance use disorders.
