  • I am a fellowship-trained, board-certified geriatric psychiatrist. My research program is directly informed by my clinical work and experiences with patients, families, providers and systems to diminish the barriers to effective and high quality mental health and dementia care for older patients and their families. As of July 1, 2019, I became Chair of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Joe P. Tupin Endowed Professor at University of California Davis.
