Summary

  • I am now a semi-retired Public Health practitioner. I directed the City of Fall River's Health & Human Services and Community Services departments for 10 years, prior to retiring from municipal government. My original board certification was in Family Practice, but the majority of my career was spent practicing Occupational and Environmental Medicine, running an Ambulatory Care Center, medically directing a hospital system's Employee & Occupational Health programs as well having medically directed a college's Health Services for 37 years. 12 years ago, I returned back to school to obtain my MPH (specializing in Epidemiology) from the University of Massachusetts. I presently consult on public health issues for Truesdale Health (my professional location since 1979), manage its patient education site, lend support to the regional Medical Reserve Corps and lecture to public health groups on emerging infectious diseases, chemical and bio-terrorism.
