- Dr. York is the Chief of the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI/D) Service at the VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) in La Jolla, CA, serving Veterans and active duty personnel with SCI/D in San Diego and Imperial Counties, Arizona, and Southern Nevada; it provides SCI/D specialty care and consultation for the VA facilities in Phoenix, Prescott, and Tuscon, Arizona. He is appointed Health Sciences Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosciences at UC San Diego.
