Summary

• Dr. Herve Boucard is proficient in colonoscopy, polyp removal, upper endoscopy, ERCP. He has received specialized state-of-the-art biliary/pancreatic endoscopy training at UMDNJ. Dr. Boucard has special interest in treatment of heartburn, gastric pain, gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD), difficulty with swallowing, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), lower abdomen pain and colitis. He is also proficient in hemorrhoids management and hemorrhoid banding. He treats all types of liver diseases including Hepatitis B and C, gallbladder disease, abnormal liver blood test and he does fatty liver evaluation. Presented with "Physician of the Year Award" In 2017, Dr. Boucard was voted Physician of the Year by his peers of The New Jersey Chapter of the AMHE (Association Medicale Haitienne a l'Etranger) in appreciation for his outstanding leadership, dedication, and service to the medical profession and the community. Dr. Boucard has shown his passion and enthusiasm for Gastroenterology and Hepatology by writing many abstracts and made poster presentations at National and International GI meetings. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
