- Hiba Haider is an Associate Professor in the Epilepsy Section, Dept of Neurology, at the University of Chicago. She is Director of the EEG Labs for the UChicago Medicine Health System, and Director of the Critical Care EEG Monitoring Program. She has held multiple leadership positions in the ACNS, serves on the medical and scientific advisory board of the NORSE Institute, and is a board member of ABRET-LTM Lab Accreditation Board . She speaks at many national and international meetings, is coauthor of the ACNS Critical Care EEG Terminology and co-editor of the Handbook of ICU EEG Monitoring. Her currently funded research is aimed at developing large-scale phenotyping methods for status epilepticus using electronic health record data.
