Summary

  • I am a retired board certified orthopedic surgeon, having finished my training at the University of Kansas in 1975. I retired in August of 2011.

    I practiced general orthopedic surgery with interests in fracture management and hip and knee replacements until 2003 in Hays, KS, then in Olathe, KS until 2007. I then did office orthopedics at Topeka, KS until retirement in 2011.

    I was involved in medical politics, having been president of the Kansas Medical Society 2001-2002, and president of the Kansas Orthopedic Society in 1994. Additionally I was a member of the AAOS Board of Councilors from 2004 to 2010.
