Summary

Dr. Hugh Sampson is an Allergy and Immunology specialist located in New York, NY, with subspecialties in Pediatric food allergies, anaphylaxis and atopic dermatitis. He completed his pediatrics residency at Children's Hospital of Northwestern University and a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Duke University Medical Center. He held a leadership role as the Director of the Jaffe Food Allergy Institute and the Dean of Translational Biomedical Sciences and is a Professor of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he has been involved in various academic and clinical roles. Dr. Sampson has experience in areas including celiac disease, asthma, atopic dermatitis, food allergy and anaphylaxis. He has directed a basic research lab investigating mechanisms of food allergic reactions and contributed to several clinical trials. He has published over 500 scientific articles on related topics. His honors include membership in the National Academy of Medicine, the Distinguished Scientist Award from AAAAI, among other recognitions.
