Summary

• I am a board-certified Family Medicine physician, diplomate of American Board of Wound Medicine and surgery and Certified Wound Specialist Physician (CWSP) with more than 20 years of clinical experience and nearly a decade devoted exclusively to advanced wound care and hyperbaric medicine, I am confident in my ability to make a strong and immediate contribution to my patients lives.
  For the past nine years, I have practiced procedural wound care across multiple hospital-based centers within the Wellstar Health System, including serving as Medical Director of the Wellstar AMC Wound & Hyperbaric Center. In these roles, I have managed complex acute and chronic wounds, overseen hyperbaric oxygen programs, and worked closely with multidisciplinary teams including wound care nurses, case managers, and HBO staff. I have also collaborated extensively with numerous medical specialties and surgeons, including vascular surgery, wound surgery, general surgery, podiatry, infectious disease, and primary care to coordinate comprehensive care plans that consistently improved healing rates and patient outcomes. My experience aligns closely with high-volume, evidence-based, procedure-oriented model of care.
  Throughout my work at Wellstar’s Douglasville and Atlanta wound clinics, as well as my transient role at Wellstar Paulding Nursing and Rehab, I have performed a broad range of procedures essential to the position, including excisional and enzymatic debridement, wound closure techniques, suturing, I&D, infection management, compression therapy, and coordination of advanced biologic and device-based wound treatments. I also hold active certification in hyperbaric oxygen therapy and have successfully integrated HBO protocols into comprehensive wound management plans for geriatric and medically complex patients.
