Received medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and completed residency training at East Carolina Brody School of Medicine in North Carolina. Following residency, worked at St. Francis Trauma Emergency Center in Tulsa for three years, then moved to Ascension St John Broken Arrow, Owasso, and Sapulpa Emergency Departments where she practiced for 14 years. Has a special interest in nutrition and lifestyle medicine and is certified in Nutrition and Healthy Living by Cornell University and Plant-Based Nutrition by T. Colin Campbell Centers for Nutrition Studies at Cornell. Married to C. David Murr, MD, MBA who is a Board-Certified Family Physician with his business degree from Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University, who also served at Ascension St John as a physician and administrator for 14 years. Together, they currently head Blue Sparrow Wellness, LLC, a holistic, natural Lifestyle Medicine practice, and have three children Nathan (16), Joshua (14), and Levi (11).
