Summary

  • I currently work at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, Directorate of Behavioral Health, Department of Behavioral Health Consultation Liaison Services. I have served as the acting department chief, juggling patient care and supervisory duties during a transition in leadership. I received Ace and Incentive Awards for my work since my start in December 2018. Previous to this employment, I worked in the private sector at 3 satellites in the Greater Boston Area serving as the senior psych NP for a caseload of 350 patients. I have additional experience in telepsychiatry and academic instruction of nursing students enrolled at Boston College and Northeastern University. My work experience is diverse, ranging from outpatient/inpatient/partial hospitalization, children/adolescents/adults/geriatrics, college/minorities/military/homeless populations, and so on. I hold a second masters in medical sciences and have a strong background in physiology and pharmacology. I enjoy attending professional conferences to stay current on advancements in psychiatric care. I continue to strive for new challenges so that patients can benefit from a well-rounded approach.
