• Dr. Jacob Meyer is a general Obstetrician and Gynecologist that focuses on minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and obstetrics. Dr. Meyer received his medical degree from Oregon Health and Science University and completed a Family Medicine residency at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center in California and, later, a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oregon Health and Science University.
  
  
  
  Dr. Meyer has a focused practice designation from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in minimally invasive surgery. His surgical focus is on laparoscopic hysterectomy, vaginal hysterectomy, laparoscopic myomectomy, advanced hysteroscopy, pelvic organ prolapse surgery, stress incontinence surgery as well as recently branching out into V-NOTES and robotic surgery. He also has experience in high-risk obstetrics, taking care of patients with type 2 diabetes, hypertension, advanced maternal age, and multiple C-sections.
  
  
  
  Dr. Meyer is enthusiastic about providing high quality medical care to all, regardless of their insurance status, and is dedicated to engaging patients in their birth plans so they have the birth experience they prefer.   In his spare time, Dr. Meyer enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, coaching t-ball, running, going to White Sox and Bulls games, fishing, camping, and traveling. Dr. Meyer is fluent in Spanish.
