Serving as Project Lead of the Office of Rural Health Enterprise Wide Initiative for HIV/ID, she has mentored over 25 VA hospital facilities nationally since 2015 and continues to innovate for high quality systems of care using telehealth, data to care systems, and emerging AI health technologies. Partnering with the VHA Innovation Ecosystem and Microsoft Corporation, her award winning team pursues sustainable interventions that combine health policy expertise with technology for sustainable change. Trained at both the Harvard School of Public Health and Yale School of Medicine she has helped developed state and federal telehealth programs with a collaborative and sustainable approach. Dr. Morano continues to innovate health care both at the clinic and national levels to advance patient care.
