Overview of Dr. Koh

Dr. Jason Koh is the System Physician Executive and Mark R. Neaman Family Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery at Endeavor Health, specializing in shoulder surgery and sports medicine, based in Skokie, IL. He received his MD at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, followed by internship at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Orthopaedic residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery/Cornell Medical Center and a fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He received a BA, magna cum laude in Biology from Harvard University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Dr. Koh is a Clinical Professor at the University of Chicago and an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University. His expertise includes sports medicine and surgeries of the shoulder and elbow. He has served as team physician for the Chicago Cubs, medical director of the Joffrey Ballet, and Chief Medical Officer for the Chicago Fire Major League Soccer team. He has published >140 articles in prestigious journals, edited 5 books, and has been involved in clinical trials related to knee cartilage transplantation and rotator cuff repair. His accolades include twice winning the Charles Neer Award from the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, and mentorship roles in the Leadership Fellows Program of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is the Communications Committee Chair at AAOS, Secretary of ISAKOS, International Committee Chair at AANA, Vice President of the Patellofemoral Foundation, and Treasurer of the International Patellofemoral Study Group, in addition to committee roles at AOSSM, ASES, and ABJS. He is a member of the Herodicus Society, the ACL Study Group, and the Rotator Cuff Study Group.
