Dr. Mathew trained in Surgery at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. While there, he served as Chief Resident in Surgery and performed basic science research in zinc biophysics using hemorrhagic shock and gastrointestinal physiology models. He developed a passion for vascular pathophysiology and completed a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He served as assistant professor in Vascular Surgery at the University of Toledo Medical School prior to moving to Florida. His clinical interests include peripheral vascular, aortic, carotid and venous disease. He lives in Wesley Chapel with his family and enjoys all aspects of the Florida outdoors.
