- Dr. Jen Brull is a family physician and health system leader with more than two decades of experience in rural primary care, clinical transformation, and physician well-being. She currently serves as Senior Advisor for Clinical Strategy and Physician Well-Being at Aledade and is President of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Brull earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed family medicine residency training in Topeka, Kansas. She practiced full-spectrum rural family medicine for over 20 years in Plainville, Kansas, where she also led performance improvement, research, and EHR innovation at the practice level. She served as a Health IT Fellow with the Office of the National Coordinator (2013–2014), was named a CDC Hypertension Control Champion (2014), and was recognized as one of Modern Healthcare’s Top 25 Innovators (2019). Her work focuses on advancing value-based care, improving systems to support physician well-being, and bringing practical, evidence-based strategies into everyday practice.
