- Dr. Jeremy Conklin, DO, JD, LLM, MBA, MPH, FACOS, FCLM is a physician and attorney. Recently, Jeremy completed an LLM in Health Law at the University of Washington School of Law. As a member of the Washington State Bar, Jeremy is licensed to practice law in the State of Washington and 9th Federal Circuit. Dr. Conklin is board certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery, Trauma and Critical Care Surgery, and General Surgery. Jeremy also holds an MPH in Health Policy, Management, & Behavior, and an MBA in Health Administration & Information Technology. For the last two years Jeremy worked assisting hospitals as a critical care physician with COVID-19. Jeremy worked at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY April 2020 through July 2020 providing disaster assistance during New York City’s COVID-19 pandemic. While treating patients Jeremy noticed disparities in the US healthcare system, which negatively affected the health of his patients. To combat the disparities he witnessed, Jeremy completed the evening law program at Seattle University. Jeremy is a veteran of the Army and Air Force. He served as an Army medic in support of Operation Joint Endeavor, the NATO peace keeping mission in Bosnia. Jeremy also served in the Air Force as a physician supporting the War on Terror. Jeremy enjoys cooking, martial arts, biking, kayaking, reading science fiction novels as well as medical mysteries, Netflix, and exercising.
