• I specialize in primary care sports medicine and practice medicine at Kings County Hospital as a non-op sports physician in Orthopedics as well as a PCP in Primary Care.
  
  
  As a sports medicine doctor, I use diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound guided procedures to treat musculoskeletal pain. I treat a variety of non operative MSK issues such as tendinopathy, arthritis, ligament injuries, and peripheral nerve entrapment syndromes with medical and physical therapy as well as in office injections with corticosteroids, prolotherapy, viscosupplementation, and hydrodissection. My goals are to help patients recover from pain, increase mobility and function, and minimize the need for surgical intervention unless necessary.
  
  
  My philosophy in primary care is to meet patients where they are, which is to consider the whole picture in treating a patient and to consider barriers to care and psychosocial factors. I believe strongly in the the primary care physician and patient relationship, to guide preventative health care and direct secondary care when needed. I prioritize evidence based medicine and low cost safe interventions when available.
  
  
  Aside from my position at Kings County, I have a very busy sports medicine practice as the Head Team Physician for Rugby New York, a professional rugby team in Major League Rugby. I am also the head team physician and President of my rugby club, Old Blue RFC, one of the best amateur rugby clubs in the US.
