Summary
- For over 3 decades the VMR Institute for Vitreous Macula Retina in Huntington Beach has provided the highest level of expert care in a private setting while maintaining a high level of basic science and clinical research. This academic prowess has resulted in the recent (2014) publication of book entitled "Vitreous - in Health and Disease" that highlights our progress with surgery, laser therapy and pharmacotherapy of blinding diseases in the vitreous, macula, and retina. In 2019 Dr. Sebag delivered the Inaugural Robert Machemer Keynote Lecture to the European Society of Ophthalmology, outlining innovations in the diagnosis and therapy of vitreo-retinal diseases. In 2023, he delivered the Meyer-Schwickerath Lecture to the German Society of Ophthalmic Surgery (DOC), entitled "Vitreous & the Lens - a tale of two media". We are thus shaping tomorrow while expertly caring for you today.
