She completed her medical education at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2014. This was followed by Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with completion in 2018. From 2015-2018, she served as a Medical Examiner for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner- Raleigh, North Carolina. During the 2017-2018 academic year, she served as Chief Resident. She became a diplomat of the American Board of Pathology (ABP) in both Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology in 2018. Her education continued as a Cytopathology Fellow at the University of California-Irvine with program completion and Cytopathology Board Certification by ABP in 2019. At the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, she completed Surgical Pathology Fellowship in 2020. From 2018-2020, she practiced as a Consultant Pathologist at Neogenomics, Aliso Viejo, CA. She briefly practiced as a general anatomic and clinical pathologist for Peninsula Pathology Associates in Salisbury, MD from 2020-2021 and served as Laboratory Medical Director for Nantikoke Memorial Hospital in Nanticoke, Delaware. In 2022, she joined Pathology Sciences Medical Group with contractual affiliation to Sentara Hospitals and became adjunct faculty for Eastern Virginia Medical School. In 2024, she took on an additional role as Cytology Program Medical Director at Old Dominion University School of Medical Diagnostic & Translational Sciences.
