Her recent publications include research on benefits and risks of estrogen therapy, adipose tissue and postmenopausal breast cancer, frailty and mortality, blood pressure and white matter hyperintensities, and noise exposure and hypertension. She has been involved in notable clinical trials such as the Women's Health Initiative, the VITamin D and OmegA-3 TriaL (VITAL), the COcoa Supplement and Multivitamin Outcomes Study (COSMOS), and others. Dr. Manson has received recognition as an Elected Member of the Institute of Medicine (National Academy of Medicine) and the Association of American Physicians, a Distinguished Scientist of the American Heart Association, has been listed in Marquis Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, and is a Master of the American College of Physicians.
