Summary

• I am a board certified general surgeon in Austin, Texas. I care for patients with conditions across the spectrum of general surgery.
  
  My practice focus is endocrine surgery. I have extensive experience in thyroid, parathyroid surgery, and adrenal gland surgery. I treat conditions such as thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, Graves' disease, goiters, hyperparathyroidism, and adrenal gland diseases. I use advanced and minimally invasive techniques such as radio-guided parathyroidectomy, IOPTH (intra-operative parathyroid hormone testing) and robotic surgery to facilitate surgery and recovery.
  
  I perform robotic and open hernia repairs. Typical hernias that I repair include inguinal, umbilical, incisional, ventral, epigastric, and hiatal hernias.
  
  I helped pioneer the application of robotic surgery using the daVinci robotic surgery platform for general surgery in Austin. This advanced technology allows for more complex operations to be performed with minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques.
  
  In addition, I perform laparoscopic surgery for gallbladder disease, colon disease including cancer and diverticulitis, and gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD).
