Summary

• I am a board certified general adult psychiatrist in practice now for 33 years. My professional interests have included the treatment of mood disorders, panic disorder, anxiety disorders, and substance abuse, among others. For many years, my practice has been to rely on combining psychotherapy with the careful use of medications. Over the past 15 years or so, I have added a functional medicine approach, emphasizing root cause resolution wherever possible. This has often been a bridge to successfully reducing, or in some cases stopping, medications.
