Summary

  • After 30 years in private practice and in Coney Island Hospital as a teaching attending in the Division of Cardiology I realize that I have been 'Dinosaured out'. I could continue to work and earn money conforming to the rules and opinions of those who control the pursestrings and policies but choose not to. They are anti-physician as I knew it to be when I started in our noble profession. For those who remain I wish them well and ask that they try and maintain the spirit that guided and motivated us to be the best that we could be and do the right thing for our patients each and every time.
