- Dr. John McCarty is the Medical Director of the Cellular Immunotherapy and Transplantation Program at VCUHS Massey Cancer Center in Richmond VA. He is also the head of the Cellular Immunotherapy Laboratory there. . He received his medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and has been in practice 31 years.
