Summary

• I am a board certified Gastroenterologist living in Irvine, CA and practicing with Kaiser Permanente at The Riverside Medical Center. I see patients throughout Riverside County. I am married to Dr. Jennifer Nguyen MD who is Chief of Hospital Medicine at Kaiser Downey Medical Center. My older son graduated with a BS degree in Economics from the University of San Francisco and is an account executive for a large brokerage insurance company. My younger son obtained an BA from Occidental College in LA majoring in Mathematics. He currently is enrolled at the University of San Francisco obtaining his MS in Computer Science. They are our brightest lights. My main interests in Gastroenterology are in Inflammatory Bowel diseases, Therapeutic Endoscopy and Liver disease. I enjoy walking, going to the gym, traveling, reading, investing and managing our properties. I greatly enjoy my time in community with Mariners Church. I spent several years in the past as Chief of GI in Riverside of a group that employs about 15 GI physicians, 2 PA, 2 NP and close to 80 nurses and administrative staff. I have also in past spent several years as an Assistant Chief of Internal Medicine in charge of Subspecialty Medicine. I no longer have an active role in administration allowing me to focus solely on patient care which is what I truly love.
