Summary
- I am a product-oriented physician executive and population health thought leader with deep early-stage startup experience. At Solace Health, I am working to ensure that every patient who needs an advocate to accompany them on their health journey receives that assistance. I am also a C-L psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital and an assistant professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
After residency and fellowship, I worked full-time at MGH in a variety of clinical, educational, and leadership roles. I joined Humana in January 2020 to start AuthorCare (the first iteration of a behavioral health care delivery entity designed to serve the pilot population of Author by Humana, an innovative Medicare Advantage plan) which was eventually spun out as Author Health. At Author Health, I designed a tech-enabled clinical and wraparound service for Medicare Advantage members with serious mental illness (SMI), substance use disorders (SUD), and dementia, and built a population health infrastructure designed for success in a value-based care arrangement.
