  An active researcher, Dr. McCormick has authored more than 90 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, with work appearing in AJSM, JSES, Arthroscopy, and other leading journals. His research has focused on shoulder arthroplasty trends and outcomes, meniscus and cartilage preservation, UCL injuries, pitcher biomechanics, and value-based care in ambulatory surgery centers.
  
  He has presented his work at national and international conferences, receiving multiple awards including from the Southern Orthopaedic Association, the Brazilian Society for Orthopedics and Trauma, and Rush University’s Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
  
  In addition to his academic and clinical practice, Dr. McCormick has provided team coverage for organizations such as DePaul Basketball, Chicago Steel (USHL), and the Joffrey Ballet.
  
  He is a member of AAOS and AANA, and serves as a reviewer for Arthroscopy and the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.
