Summary

  • Dr. Jolaiya Faturoti is passionate about delivering quality, patient-centered obstetrical and gynecological care to women of all ages and cultures. She places a priority on providing patient education — taking the time to answer patient questions, address concerns and explain options in a way that helps ensure each woman leaves empowered and equipped to take control of her own health.

She enjoys managing all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology including preconception, infertility, low and high-risk pregnancies, preventative care, healthy lifestyle education, adolescent gynecology and menopause management, in office procedures and minimally invasive surgeries. Dr. Faturoti also provides treatment strategies for fibroids and abnormal uterine bleeding.

Dr. Faturoti was born and raised in Dallas, TX. She earned her medical degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. She completed her obstetrics/gynecology internship at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Medical Center before finishing her training through the BronxCare Health System obstetrics/gynecology residency program in Bronx, NY. Dr. Faturoti is a junior fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

When not focused on women's healthcare she enjoys a very active lifestyle with her husband, Ayo and cherishes valuable time with her young son. Dr. Faturoti is thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to serve the community and plans on serving through volunteering, mentoring and ministry.
