Jonathan Allen Miller MD

Summary

• Dr. Miller is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgeon. He received his medical doctorate, along with academic scholarships and coursework honors, from Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. He then completed a transitional year internship at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, a dermatology residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology fellowship with the Surgical Dermatology Group in Birmingham, AL, where he participated in over 2,500 Mohs surgeries and reconstructions.
  
  Dr. Miller has been active in research and innovation through publishing articles in peer-reviewed medical and surgical dermatology journals, presenting at national conferences, and creating a comprehensive dermatology education app.
  
  He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and maintains memberships with the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American College of Mohs Surgery, and the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society.
  
  Prior to medicine, Dr. Miller obtained an undergraduate degree in nursing from Southern Adventist University and worked for two years in critical care before spending a year as a missionary nurse in the Philippines. Outside of medicine, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, aviation, fishing, outdoor activities, and volunteering in his community.
