Summary

  • Current PGY-2 in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia - New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Interested in climate change and health, infectious diseases, and the health effects of immigration.

I completed medical school at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University where I additionally completed a Master of Science in Population Medicine focused on the health effects of climate-induced migration for Tuvaluans in New Zealand. Prior to this, I attended the Yale University School of Public Health for my Master of Public Health degree, specializing in the epidemiology of infectious diseases and global health with research focused on a diarrheal disease outbreak in the context of a severe drought on a Pacific Island. I am passionate about climate change and health and combining public health practice and policy in order to yield results that help people live healthier lives. I previously worked at the Emerging Infections Program, a CDC funded project at Yale, where I performed foodborne illness surveillance and outbreak investigation on behalf of the Connecticut Department of Public Health. In undergrad, I interned at ACTION, a public health advocacy organization, where I worked on advocacy relating to tuberculosis funding on Capitol Hill.
