Dr. Banchs is an adjunct Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine Anschutz Medical Campus and the Global medical director of cardiac ultrasound imaging for Bracco diagnostics.
He previously held the role of Associate professor and director of echocardiography at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
He has contributed to multiple publications on cardiac dysfunction, cardiac injury, cardiovascular phenotypes, and other related topics. Additionally, he has been involved in clinical trials focused on echocardiography protocols and early detection of chemotherapy-induced cardiac toxicity. Dr. Banchs is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.
