- Dr. Martin grew up in South Florida, where he underwent his medical school training at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He later did his surgical training at Henry Ford Health Systems in Detroit, Michigan.
He is a Board Certified General Surgeon. Including his training, he has a combined over12 years of surgical experience, in the areas of general, breast, colorectal, endoscopic and minimally invasive surgery. He was appointed Clinical Instructor of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties at Michigan State University, and later appointment Clinical Instructor at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He served as the Chief of Surgery at North Shore Medical Center in Miami, Florida from 2017 to 2019. He is the current Vice-Chief of Surgery at Broward health Coral Springs Hospital.
