Summary

• Dr. Jose Rodriguez is an orthopaedic surgeon based in Houston, TX, specializing in orthopedic spine surgery. He completed his medical degree at Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in 1980 and has extensive residency training in orthopaedic surgery from several institutions, including Westchester Medical Center and New York Medical College and his Spinal Surgery fellowship at Texas Back Institute in Plano Texas. He has been the president of the Houston Orthopaedic Society, Texas Spine Society and the Hispanic Medical Association of Houston, TX. Participated as Clinical Instructor in the Orthopaedic Department at University of Texas. He was also the US Navy Reserves Medical Officer for the US Marines Batallions in Cleveland, OH and Houston, TX as LCDR, Commission that ended in March 2024.
  He has lectured in medical congresses in USA, PR, Mexico and Brazil.
  His two sons: Limael E Rodriguez (Vascular Surgeon) and Joel E Rodriguez (Primary Care Sports Medicine) both UCCMC graduates, are in practice with him, both also board Certified in their respective Specialties.
